GMPLS extensions for supporting advanced optical networking technologies

摘要: In response to the need for higher flexibility in optical networks, a generalised multiprotocol label switching (GMPLS) protocol suite is currently under standardisation. However, these standards switched path (LSP) hierarchy defined that only considers circuit-switched networks. The paper aims at broadening scope of this more advanced networking technologies.
