摘要: Abstract Silver nanoparticles were synthesized in a paste of polyvinylpyrrolidone formed after mixing PVP with acetone and small volume aqueous silver nitrate under magnetic stirring. A film made the material was characterized by UV–vis spectroscopy. The obtained spectrum shows single peak at 438 nm, arising from surface plasmon absorption colloids. This result clearly indicates that are embedded PVP. When pre-treated PVP–Ag colloid is dissolved ethylene glycol, resulting dispersion an 433 nm, whose maximum blue shifts to 416 nm 18 days agitation. have average particle size 4.12 nm. Because IR band assigned carbonyl group longer wavelengths, interaction this polymer seems take place through oxygen.
