摘要: Abstract The nuclear service performance of two pressure vessel steels as influenced by the application static stress during radiation exposure has been examined. Bar samples from an A350-LF1 (Modified) steel forging and a heavy section A302-B plate were irradiated under uniaxial tension at 430°F 550°F, respectively, together with unstressed (reference) specimens for comparisons Charpy-V notch ductility performance. Applied levels in excess 75% individual yield strengths temperature. A brief description special assembly control instrumentation developed this study is presented. Experimental data both suggest no synergistic effect applied on mechanical properties conditions simulating service. post-irradiation annealing response low alloy also was not found to be irradiation.
