摘要: The aim of this research was to identify pathogens in field populations the genus Pityokteines from Croatia with special reference their spatial distribution throughout country. Pathogens occurrence studied 5,968 adult specimens three silver fir bark beetle species: curvidens, P. spinidens and vorontzovi. Four pathogen species were observed different tissues hosts. Canningia spinidentis Menzbieria sp. found only spinidens, while Chytridiopsis typographi Gregarina also present curvidens Multiple infections all where gregarines occurred together C. combination spinidens. All are first descriptions on host spp., except Data presented study show possible candidates for further tests utilize as microbial control agents against beetles future.
