摘要: SUMMARY Lesbian health is emerging as a distinct discipline in practice and research. Evidence increasingly available that lesbians are unique underserved population the care system. They display reduced seeking behaviors have specific risk factors which potentially affect their well being. also issues fields diverse fertility, sexual mental health, require knowledge from practitioners. Above all, lesbian consumers repeatedly decry lack of sensitivity they experience interactions with providers, call for improved training. However, medical education generally ignores at all levels.
