摘要: The occupational mortality data in England and Wales have been examined to see whether differences physical activity or occupation could contribute the higher from gastric cancer poorer socio-economic classes. Occupations were classed three grades according amount of required was light, intermediate, heavy, standardized ratios calculated for each category social class activity. The showed a marked trend with III, which provided best conditions studying relationship, less clear trends other classes. Other diseases (lung cancer, cancers, ulcer, gastritis, enteritis, diarrhoea) only minor evidence such relationship. It is suggested that relationship between at work may be due part fact men whose involves heavy eat more are consequently exposed greater quantity carcinogens their food.
