Filter based enhancement of QRS complex of electrocardiogram

摘要: A specialized filter very similar to comb is used in this study suppress the parts other than QRS complex of electrocardiogram (ECG) thereby enhancing complex. Using appropriate threshold and some decision rules location can easily be found. The proposed technique detect complexes normal as well premature ventricular contraction, paced left bundle branch block beats. total 31 ECG data sets MIT-BIH database, each 30 minutes duration subjected for detection. An average successful detection rate 99.89% found method also fast. To process 30-minute it takes only an 1.5 seconds when implemented on a Pentium II, 350 MHz computer MATLAB 5.3 environment.
