摘要: Abstract The seizure resistance of cast graphite-aluminium composite alloys containing graphite particles various sizes was studied using a Hohman wear tester. If the content is more than 2% these can be selfmated without under conditions boundary lubrication. size and shape had no significant effect on resistance. Owing to extensive deformation fragmentation graphite, low yield strength aluminium matrix flow stress particles, continuous layer formed mating surfaces even after short running-in period. This persisted deformation.
