摘要: This paper is concerned with the performance of a new kind pre-polymerised inorganic coagulant, poly-alumino-iron sulphate (PAFS), for use in drinking water treatment. Considerable laboratory work has been undertaken to evaluate PAFS comparison conventional coagulants such as ferric (FS) and aluminium (AS), coagulation model upland coloured typical lowland surface UK. The results have shown that coagulant was superior FS AS terms removal colour, UV254-absorbing substances dissolved organic carbon (DOC). achieved lowest residual concentrations Fe Al AS, respectively. In addition, achieve an equivalent percentage, lower dose (in molar units) required FS.
