摘要: Abstract The temperature dependence of the interaction C 2 H and 4 with Pt(111) was followed by measurements C(1s) binding energy shift. Different surface species, such as previously identified EELS, UPS LEED, can be distinguished their corresponding energy. At 100 K adsorption are characterized energies 284.0 eV 283.4 eV, respectively. A quantitative evaluation peak areas yields saturation coverages about 0.5 molecule per Pt atom for at K. same coverage also determined conditions × LEED patterns. In addition peaks were measuered 5 Cl 3 on 110 300 These species adsorb predominantly in molecular form but dissociated
