摘要: Shifting cultivation and logging are serious problems in tropical countries like Laos which contribute to a large extent the increase of deforestation. In this study, stand structure, species composition diversity, soil chemical properties microclimate were determined compare natural regeneration patterns primary secondary forests (logged-over fallow) mixed deciduous after shifting Laos. All woody with stem diameter ≥ 5 cm identified counted. Diameter at breast height (DBH) (1.3 m) was measured all plots. The distance time recovery also compared among sites. family from 25 15 families, 31 21 44 24 45 families slash burn for 1-year, 5- year, 10-year, 15-years fallow periods. While, increased 82 30 logged-over forest if 77 35 found forest. Three pioneer higher importance value such as Schima wallichii forest, Cratoxylum cochinchinensis 15, 10 5-year-old Aporosa microcalyx 1-year-old fallow. basics data obtained study will be very useful managing future.
