摘要: After examining some perceived inconsistencies in the relationship between species richness and energy, Latham Ricklefs rejected Energy Diversity Theory favour of historical explanations geographical patterns tree richness. We have re-examined Ricklefs's data, both by itself pooled with Currie Paquin's data. find that data are, fact, consistent richness-energy hypothesis. Because strong collinearity annual evapotranspiration region their particular sets, cannot be used to distinguish hypotheses contemporary climate, versus other interregional difference, is responsible for observed patterns. Finally, there no reason attribute differences among regions factors rather than ones.
