摘要: The first spectra of helium, neon, argon, krypton, and xenon, excited by discharges in Geissler tubes, operated direct connection to a transformer, have been explored the infrared (12000 19000 A). A high-resolution, automatically recording, spectrometer, employing 15000-lines-per-inch grating lead-sulfide photoconducting detector, was used as dispersing instrument. new set wavelength values is reported for all these spectra. New data include 18 previously unreported lines neon 36 which classified. descriptions xenon represent essentially repetition observations Sittner Peck. Several missing classifications are supplied, also few amended interpretations. analysis-of may be regarded complete. Use selected standards suggested..
