摘要: Introduction: Transurethral resection of the prostate (TURP) is regarded as gold standard surgical treatment for benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH). The completeness TURP may be assessed indirectly by estimation weight glandular tissue removed. This parameter often lower than expected. Tissue vaporisation in course could a contributory cause. Aim: To quantitatively evaluate occurring transurethral and electrovaporisation (EVAP) performed under experimental conditions. Material methods: study was on 26 glands removed during retropubic prostatectomy. Immediately following surgery all adenomas were halved or EVAP carried out both halves each gland period 5 min. amount which vaporised calculated. Results: mean (± deviation) adenoma lost due to group 10.00 ±2.92 g 4.26 ±1.59 g, respectively. latter accounted 30.10 ±7.71% total reduction. 5.03 ±1.58 g. Conclusions: significantly contributes loss prostate.
