摘要: Abstract The kinetic theory of species selection in mixed cultures is presented and verified under laboratory conditions. based on the Monod equation presuming different growth constants μ k, for and, consequently, their specific rates relationships to substrate concentration. Suppression filamentous microorganisms can be achieved by a selector. selector forms initial part biological reactor characterized low value dispersion number, desirably below 0·2, an adequate concentration gradient. A definite relationship does exist between SVI number or CODmax reactor. If used, only should considered prediction. It was repeatedly demonstrated that changing factors indicated brings culture bulking back. time necessary suppress depends composition gradient In general, propagation filaments proceeds faster than suppression. emphasized not cover whole phenomenon population dynamics cultures.
