摘要: Abstract Aim Conventional follow-up of type 1 diabetic patients treated with continuous subcutaneous insulin infusion (CSII) was compared intensive coaching using the Web and cellular phone network for retrospective data transmission short message service (SMS). Methods Thirty poorly controlled (HbA 1c 7.5–10%) were enrolled in a bicenter, open-label, randomized, 12-month, two-period, crossover study. After 1-month run-in period, 15 randomly assigned to receive weekly medical support through SMS based upon review glucose values, while continued download self-monitored blood (SMBG) values on basis without receiving SMS. 6 months, crossed over alternate sequence 6 additional months. Visits at clinic maintained every 3 months. Results Patients long-standing inadequately diabetes (24 ± 13 years) included. A non-significant trend reduction HbA (–0.25±0.94%, P =0.06) during 6-month observed as no-SMS period. No safety issue (hypoglycemia, variability) reported. Adherence SMBG not affected by trial. Quality life analysis suggests significant improvement DQOL global score, well satisfaction subscale, sequence. Conclusions Long-term telemedical pump-treated phone-, SMS- Web-based platform is feasible, safe, does alter quality associated toward improved metabolic control.
