Light-induced heating of dense 2D ensemble of gold nanoparticles: dependence on detuning from surface plasmon resonance

摘要: The extinction of white light by dense 2D ensemble gold nanoparticles with size 22 nm and interparticle distance 40 has been studied at the simultaneous illumination continuous-wave laser beam in dependence detuning frequency from surface plasmon resonance (SPR). appreciable red shift, broadening, increase intensity plasmonic band have observed approaching to SPR. shift broadening reveal heating that an evident resonant character. strong nanoparticle temperature 590 K moderate 5 × 103 W/cm2 24.6 nm. Such is probably due accumulative effect enhancement intense local field coupled Au ensemble.
