摘要: The paper presents the results of a systematicstudy factors that child protectionofficers consider in their decisions whetheror not to remove children at risk from theirhomes. A sample 194 Israel completed questionnaireconstructed on basis Shye's SystemicQuality Life Model (1979, 1985), which tapsthe psychological, physical, social, andcultural dimensions quality life.Questions were answered 368 fairlyevenly divided between those they decided toremove home and keepat home. findings show 85% werecorrectly classified model,and close associations qualityof life decisions. Theworkers evaluated both current oflife parents' enabling good as higher among whom theyrecommended keeping than thosethey recommended removing. Similarly, theypredicted recommendedremain would have athome future recommendedbe removed. psychological dimension thequality contributed more thedecision these thanthe social cultural.
