摘要: Our recent studies have demonstrated the presence in neonatal islet cells and intact adult islets of a phosphatidylcholine-directed phospholipase D (PLD) which is activated after phorbol ester stimulation. The present study describes PLD activation carbohydrate insulin secretagogue. At highest concentration tested (20 mM) triose, glyceraldehyde, induced formation phosphatidic acid prelabeled with [14C]arachidonic or [3H]myristic (164 +/- 7 210 9% basal values, respectively). Experimental confirmation concentration-dependent specific was provided by transphosphatidylation product, phosphatidylethanol, stimulation glyceraldehyde added ethanol (1.5%).
