摘要: An analytical model of a simple computer storage allocation scheme is described, and its Markov nature established given certain conditions on input operation. Simple theory used to compute the expected utilisation in some example situations with small memory sizes. These are compared closed-form results which possible when relocation allowed. Some current restrictions future developments uses outlined.
