摘要: Abstract It is shown for the first time that it possible to employ electrochemical in situ Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy study electro-oxidation of methanol at small platinum particles. A number differences with respect behaviour a bulk metal electrode are observed; these observations demonstrate beyond doubt very significant difference between and particle mechanisms oxidation methanol, reveal dangers extrapolating from former latter.
