摘要: Abstract Platinum sub colloids (nm range) were synthesized in the presence of a surfactant (CTAB) by micellar technique which metal particles ensured long-term stability aqueous dispersion and prevented from agglomeration. When this stabilized Pt hydrosol was allowed to react with suspension Na + montmorillonite or Li hectorite, cationic exchange reaction between /Li organic cation (CTA ) took place simultaneous incorporation reduced into organoclay host. Finely divided well-dispersed generated method interlamellar space hectorite. The catalyst samples different loadings characterized UV–Vis spectroscopy, XRD, TEM AAS techniques. From micrographs it confirmed that diameter intercalated nanometer range. catalytic activity catalysts studied towards selective hydrogenation C O bond cinnamaldehyde using batch type high pressure reactor at temperatures hydrogen pressures. their selectivity cinnamyl alcohol discussed detail. 1 wt.% loaded found be appreciable.
