Study of marital discord in the Royal Canadian Mounted Police

摘要: The purpose of this study was to investigate the level marital discord (stress) within a group married Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) officers and their spouses from large RCMP detachment in Vancouver area. investigation levels stress these marriages carried out with use Marital Satisfaction Inventory (MSI). MSI is multidimensional self-report measure that identifies separately for each spouse nature extent distress along several key dimensions relationship. These include Conventionalization, Global Distress, Affective Communication, ProblemSolving Time Together, Disagreement About Finances, Sexual Dissatisfaction, Role Orientation, Family History Dissatisfaction With Children, Conflict Over Childrearing. In couple husband wife reported subjective experience appraisal marriage by answering "True" or "False" 280 items.
