摘要: We report a case of chronic pancreatitis with diffuse narrowing the main pancreatic duct. A 66-year-old man complained an abdominal mass at upper region. Increased serum levels γ-globulin, immunoglobulin G and elastase-1, disturbed function low urinary excretion bentiromide were demonstrated. The ultrasonography computed tomography abdomen revealed enlargement entire pancreas without localized mass. Endoscopic retrograde pancreatography showed irregular duct from head to tail pancreas. Based on these characteristic findings, patient was strongly suggestive having so-called ‘autoimmune pancreatitis’, treated steroids. Administration prednisolone had reduced size Moreover, follow-up endoscopic demonstrated improvement Dramatic by steroid therapy suggested that etiology this disease seemed be related autoimmunity.
