摘要: The bush dog (Speothos venaticus) acts as the natural definitive host in life cycle of Echinococcus vogeli, causative agent polycystic hydatid disease, a zoonotic neglected disease South America. We report case infection by vogeli from Brazilian Amazon, confirmed morphological and morphometric examination adult parasites their hooks obtained small intestine canid. Additionally, mitochondrial DNA sequence analysis corroborated these findings. This is second E. dog.
