摘要: We have recently reported on the relationship between left ventricular (LV) volume (V) determined by contrast ventriculography (CV) and corresponding units calculated from LV region-of-interest counts obtained ECG gated equilibrium radionuclide angiographic (EQ) time-activity curves. corrected absolute number of at end-diastole (ED) end-systole (ES) for processed cardiac cycles, acquisition time, in plasma time data acquisition. To evaluate a simpler method, which merely involves correcting whole blood rather than plasma, we studied 15 patients prospectively prior to CV. Each patient underwent EQ using 15–20 mCi 99mTc-human serum albumin. Ten ml were withdrawn midpoint each study. Four suspended above scintillation camera detector determine “blood” radioactivity concentration. For comparison, remaining 6 centrifuged yield 0.1 counted separately well counter. ED ES standard commercial semi-automatic computer program with varying edge tracking algorithm. Radionuclide derived both methods correlated CV volume, yielding following results: when counting EDV, r = 0.94, ESV, 0.95; 0.93, 0.94. conclude that can be count-derived units.
