摘要: Abstract To enhance the photocatalytic performance of Cu2O, spent activated carbon (SAC) directly supported CuO powder and then was heated by microwaves to prepare an economical photocatalyst copper-loaded (Cu/AC). The prepared Cu/AC catalyst characterized N2 adsorption-desorption, X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), energy dispersive spectrometry (EDS), photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), Raman zero charge point (pHpzc). analysis results indicated that had important specific surface area 1135 m2/g mainly contained Cu2O metallic copper (Cu0). particles were successfully loaded on carbon. activity evaluated means methylene blue (MB) degradation. effects reaction parameters such as pH, initial concentration dose investigated for dye data showed MB solutions degraded using under UV irradiation. These may be conceived a method treatment wastewater.
