摘要: Abstract Since in ITER the radiation field will be much more demanding than that of present day devices, research programmes at JET are aimed developing hard diagnostics and related components. Initially, significant efforts devoted to determining both plasma immediate environment with better accuracy. New developments MCNP calculations dedicated measurements provide useful information about Torus Hall, even during non-operational periods. The effect using Beryllium near future for first wall, is being assessed. materials activation samples under consideration tested improve calibration accuracy neutron diagnostics. long-term goal this work obtain spectrometric from an appropriate combination different materials. Several studies way modify detectors by LiH or pure water as filters, alleviate problem background γ-ray measurements. A suite neutrons, magnetic charged particles developed. Super-heated fluid detectors, used yield imaging, upgraded, order a broad-band capability. Chemical vapour deposited diamond diodes qualified counters spectrometers. Prototypes Hall probes made InSb have been installed on machine provided some preliminary results. Si-on-insulator development use neutral particle analysers currently bench-tested. Some attention optical components, fibres mirrors, investigating electronics reconfigurable Field Programmable Gate Arrays.
