摘要: Despite their representativeness and importance in coastal waters, subtidal rocky bottom habitats have been under-studied. This has resulted a lack of available indicators for hard substrate communities. However, few using macroalgae developed recent years the purpose being implemented into Water Framework Directive (WFD). Accordingly, quality index defined as French assessment tool waters. approach is based on 14 metrics that consider depth penetration, composition (sensitive, characteristic opportunistic) biodiversity assemblages complies with WFD requirements.
