摘要: Circular RNAs (circRNAs) are a novel class of regulatory that despite being relatively abundant have only recently begun to be explored. There many thousands genes appear capable producing circRNAs, however the function all but handful remain determined. What is emerging about these highly conserved molecules they play important roles in biology and cancer particular. The most explored circRNAs as master regulators gene expression act sequester or ´sponge´ other regulators, particular miRNAs. They also been demonstrated via direct modulation transcription, by interfering with splicing mechanisms. Although generally expressed low abundance when compared their linear counterparts, often tissue- developmental stage- specific manner. Coupled remarkable resistance RNAse activity due covalent closed cyclic structure, show great promise biomarkers diseases. In this review we consider current state knowledge regarding molecules, synthesis, function, association cancer. We will some challenges resolved if really become useful clinic.
