摘要: The measurements of body mass and height to determine the Body Mass Index (BMI) in order classify individuals whether they are normal, pre-obese or obese may not be sufficient as a primary screening tool for Cardio-metabolic risk assessment. However, it has been established that Waist-to-Height Ratio (WHtR) will greater advantage over BMI such assessments. It is widely assumed mostly who at diseases based on classification. But this true some placed normal category found WHtR values which than 0.5.Hence there need boundary value using WHtR. This study concludes cross-section 200 (both male female) adult Nigerian population ages 20-67 years Jos, Nigeria, 24.45 Kg/m 2 . was also males higher their female counterparts population. And these fall within (18.50 – 24.99 ) BMI, suggesting can diseases, addition categories classification Keywords: Index, Ratio, risk, value.
