Modeling Information Sources for Information Integration

摘要: A critical problem in building an information mediator is to design knowledge bases describing the contents of sources. Concepts which capture abstractions sources and are usable describe their content must be identified. This paper addresses this acquisition context PICSEL project, when relational databases. The main contributions (1) semi automated techniques for identifying relevant concepts from a database's conceptual schema, (2) set tools assisting database administrators mapping these interesting on domain model mediator.
