摘要: Abstract Several online and offline techniques for characterizing the deposition transport of magnetite particles in supercritical water were investigated using a once-through flow apparatus. Ferrous chloride ferrous sulfate precursor solutions injected into 1.8m heated test section at temperatures ranging from 200 °C to 400 °C. Silver membrane filters 0.2 μm pore size used collect under conditions. Thermal resistance monitoring on showed asymptotic, linear fouling deposition-removal cycles. A novel method qualitatively determining strength oxide tube surface combination ultrasonic acid wash procedures demonstrated that conditions, stronger bond is formed which speculated be caused by precipitation dissolved species. comparison between different conditions pH, heat flux, examined experimental are presented this study. It was found multiple needed characterize process if underlying rate-limiting steps not known priori.
