摘要: Malaysia's Islamic judiciary has undergone noteworthy transformations in recent decades, especially the new millennium. Two distinct periods of ethnographic observation Malaysia, separated by a quarter century, afford comparative-historical perspectives on same (but ultimately very different) court and an illustrative case heard there 2012. Building Pierre Bourdieu's work juridical fields, these allow us to contextualize thus better understand various discourses concerning law (syariah), Islamization, bureaucratization, corporatization encountered today different quarters Malaysian society globally. They also for clear view how social forces relevant them play out ground, context increasingly corporate governmentality.
