摘要: Factors associated with early asthma readmission have not been fully studied. To identify predictors of readmission, we performed a matched case-control study children discharged primary diagnosis asthma. Cases were readmitted within 30 days discharge. Controls readmitted. Conditional logistic regression analysis was used. History hospitalization the past 12 months an independent predictor (OR 1.89, p = 0.021). Modifiable factors such as medical treatment and management during upon discharge from index admission did predict readmission.
