摘要: Publisher Summary This chapter presents the observation of sub-Doppler resolved gamma anisotropy produced by laser-induced nuclear orientation (LINO). Sub-doppler LINO is uniquely suited for resolving closely spaced hyperfine structure (hf) short-lived isomers. Sub-Doppler allows more precise measurements hf splittings to be made. leads accurate magnetic dipole and electric quadrupole moments isomer shifts. uses laser optical pumping produce electronic alignment. transferred excited nucleus interaction. When oriented nuclei decay, observed in spatial distribution emitted rays. The determined monitoring as a function detuning.
