Gauge Field for Edge State in Graphene

摘要: By considering the continuous model for graphene, we analytically study a special gauge field edge state. The explains properties of state such as existence only on zigzag edge, partial appearance in k-space, and energy position around Fermi energy. It is demonstrated utilizing that robust surface reconstruction, next nearest-neighbor interaction which breaks particle-hole symmetry stabilizes
