摘要: Abstract We present the SPICA Coronagraphic Instrument (SCI), which has been designed for a concentrated study of extra-solar planets (exoplanets). mission provides us with unique opportunity to make high contrast observations because its large telescope aperture, simple pupil shape, and capability making infrared from space. The primary objectives SCI are direct coronagraphic detection spectroscopy Jovian exoplanets in infrared, while monitoring transiting is another important target. specification an overview design instrument shown. In SCI, non-coronagraphic modes aplicable both imaging spectroscopy. core wavelength range goal mode 3.5–27 μm, 10 −6 , respectively. Two complemental designs binary shaped mask coronagraph presented. simultaneous one target using two channels, short channel InSb detector long Si:As detector. also give report on current progress development key technologies SCI.
