Dental anxiety and needle phobia in children. A relationship

摘要: This cross-sectional study aimed at explaining the nature of needle phobia and its relationship in dental phobic children with evidence on age-related differences. The patient sample included randomly selected patients an group referred anxious children. were divided into three age groups arranged anxiety groups. Needle was demonstrated to be age-related, but should considered as a separate phenomenon, being not specific for anxiety.
