摘要: The corpus allatum (CA) of adult female Ceratitis capitata produces methyl palmitate (MP) in vitro, addition to JHB(3) and JH III. Biosynthesized MP migrates on TLC co-elutes from RP-18 HPLC with synthetic MP. Its identity is verified herein by GCMS. production up-regulated twofold mevastatin, an inhibitor mevalonic acid-dependent isoprene biosynthesis. Fosmidomycin, acid-independent synthesis graminaceous plants, up-regulates about fourfold. However, it does not depress biosynthesis concurrently. This suggests that the initial enzyme(s) conversion 1-deoxy-xylulose 5-phosphate presumably present C. capitata, but inhibited fosmidomycin, this inhibition diverts precursors synthesis. Phytol, acyclic diterpene, might be suppressing CA, thereby resulting a fourfold increase Linolenic acid end-product its presence incubation media twofold, due feedback diversion C(16:0) ester. Biosynthesis markedly depressed after mating, while otherwise maintained at significantly higher levels virgin females. reduced females direct axonal control less consistent mating.
