摘要: High quality aluminium matrix syntactic foams (AMSFs) were produced by pressure infiltration. This method can ensure the maximal volume fraction of reinforcing hollow spheres and very low amount unwanted or porosities. By this hybrid MMSFs with mixed metal ceramic also produced. The material was AlSi12 alloy two different types – Hollomet GmbH in Germany used: Globomet (GM) Globocer (GC). geometrical properties similar (average outer diameter), but their base pure iron Al2O3+SiO2 case GM GC respectively. maintained at ~65 vol%, ratio them altered 20% steps (100% + 0% GC, 80% GC...). results compression tests showed, that compressive strength, yield plateau structural stiffness absorbed mechanical energy values increased higher sphere reinforcement ratio. fracture strains investigated decreased Generally strength diameter to height (H/D) from H/D=1 H/D=1.5 2.
