摘要: This paper tests the hypothesis that economic transition if associated with earnings mobility is higher than in mature market economies, and which offsets increase inequality. It uses Hungarian Household Panel Survey for period 1992-1997. The finds indeed five-year Hungary early years of was significantly OECD countries. However, there are sings rate has begun to decline. pattern had a significant equalizing effect: low earners were raised up while high leveled down. taking place against backdrop fall real wages therefore most cases it implied worsening absolute status.
