摘要: The development of air quality control strategies is a wide preoccupation for human health. In order to achieve thispurpose, pollution sources have be accurately identified and quantified. This case study part scientificproject initiated by the French ministry Ecology Sustainable Development. Measurements chemicalcomposition data particles been performed at urban site. work presented in this paper splits intotwo main steps. first one, identification source profiles achieved Principal Component basedFactor Analysis (FA), followed rotation technique. Then, second step, receptor modeling approach (usingPositive Matrix Factorization as an estimation method) allows us evaluate apportionment source. The results from these two statistical methods enabled characterize apportion fine particulate matteremissions five sources. exposition accessible readers with intermediate knowledge statistics; anexposure factor principal components analyses useful but not strictly necessary.
