摘要: Purpose To examine the association and mediating effect among medication beliefs, perception of illness, adherence in ischemic stroke patients. Patients methods This is a cross-sectional study, 306 patients recruited from The Second Affiliated Hospital Harbin Medical University, China between June 2018 October 2018. Beliefs about Medications Questionnaire (BMQ) was used to assess patient's beliefs medication. Brief Illness Perceptions (BIPQ) rapidly determine cognitive emotional representation stroke. Self-reported assessed using Medication Adherence Report Scale (MARS). Logistic regression analysis, Pearson correlations, mediation analysis were evaluate effects adherence. Results Overall, 220 (65.48%) participants non-adherent their medications. Non-adherent had greater severity (p = 0.031) compared adherent After adjusting for demographic characteristics, specific concern (odds ratio [OR]: 0.652, 95% confidence interval [CI]: 0.431 0.987, p-value [P] 0.043), illness (overall score) (OR: 0.964, CI: 0.944 0.985, P 0.001) significantly associated with showed significant indirect concern, general overuse, harm. It suggested that some impacts have been mediated on Conclusion Perceived adverse medicines an influential impact self-reported enhance adherence, patients' perceptions disease should be reconsidered. Future work investigate interventions influence patient by addressing concerns medications disease.
