Microstructure and Oxidation Behavior of Cr39Ni7C Cermet Coatings Deposited by Diamond Jet Spray Process

摘要: For the promising erosion and oxidation resistance of carbide cermet coating, Cr39Ni7C coatings were deposited by Diamond Jet spray process using a commercial Sulzer Metco 5241 powder in this study. The microstructure, phase compositions, high-temperature behavior investigated. speed temperature in-flight particles measured DPV-2000. results revealed that decreased from 229 to 150 m/s with increasing spraying distance 100 300 mm, whereas average increased 1926 2245 K. decarburization Cr3C2 fuel gas flow 58 SLPM 77 for higher heat enthalpy flame. Due formation Cr2O3 on/in at high temperature, sprayed had good 1073 K an air atmosphere. was found be governed parabolic rate law. lower porosity coating under 150 mm, its better than 200 mm. A slight reduction micro hardness occurred after 723 K oxidation.
