摘要: The enzyme specificity in the biosynthesis of prostaglandins has been investigated by incubation a particulate fraction sheep vesicular glands with ω6 tri- and tetraenoic C18 - C22 fatty acids isomers eicosatrienoic acid (20: 3 ω6). chemical synthesis various substrate is described. were converted into series prostaglandin E2 homologues trienoic E1 homologues. only isomer 20: which showed fairly high conversion an isoprostaglandin was ω7 compound. Maximum conversions obtained from C20 acids. The smooth muscle stimulating activity appears to be very specific. All other had much lower activities.
