摘要: Although von Mering and Minkowski were successful in removing the pancreas from dog 1889, it was almost 50 years before a similar procedure accomplished man. In 1935 Whipple 16 performed first subtotal pancreaticoduodenectomy, 1944 Priestley 12 total pancreatectomy. During two decades since Whipple's operation originally described, pancreatectomy has been utilized with increasing frequency treatment of an array benign malignant diseases.
