摘要: Abstract Wind pressure coefficients at various openings of a wind tower were determined by testing scale model the building in boundary layer tunnel. towers (or Baud-Geers) are structures which have been employed Iran and neighbouring countries for natural ventilation passive cooling. Tests conducted on an isolated tower, adjoining house, house surrounded courtyard. The angles two types terrain: suburban open country. air flow rates then estimated from knowledge apertures. It was concluded that presence courtyard around structure angle incidence influence rate direction flowing to house. If leeward can be closed (for example, automatic dampers) restricting leaving these apertures, greatly increased. results this investigation believed provide assistance architects engineers design desired buildings.
