摘要: Abstract In order to search for an efficient photocatalysts working under visible light illumination, we have investigated the effect of metal and nonmetal ions (In, S) codoping on photocatalytic activity TiO 2 nanoparticles (TiO NPs) prepared by combining sol–gel (SG) photodeposition (PD) methods using titanium tetra isopropoxide (TTIP), indium nitrate (In(NO 3 ) thiourea as precursors. this regard, at first three different percentage S (0.05, 0.2 0.5) doped into SG method, then amount In(III) loaded surface samples PD technique. The results showed that In, S-codoped S-TiO with a spheroidal shape demonstrates smaller grain size than pure . Meanwhile, UV–vis DRS considerable red shift region. Finally, were evaluated photooxidative degradation methyl orange (MO) solution UV illumination. As result, it was found 0.05%S-0.5%In/TiO , 0.2%S-1.5%In/TiO 0.5%S-0.5%In/TiO had highest catalytic in each group among these best performance decomposes more 95% MO only 90 min.
