摘要: Abstract The effect of kaolinite and montmorillonite on fine coal flotation in deionized water calcium solution were studied through experiments a mixed coal–kaolinite/montmorillonite system the present study, respectively. Fuerstenau upgrading curve was used to evaluate whole selectivity interaction force between kaolinite/montmorillonite measured using atomic microscopy (AFM) colloidal probe technique. It found that caused different issues process. In water, results show lower recovery worse obtained for coal-montmorillonite compared with coal-kaolinite. AFM slightly jump-into-contact phenomenon observed coal–montmorillonite while repulsive always detected coal–kaolinite interaction. heterocoagulation responsible low bad system. presence 0.1 mol/L ion, increased considerably both systems deteriorated. high adhesion coal-kaolinite/montmorillonite curves, indicating attractive dominated coal. electrostatic clay particle or air bubble is fully suppressed by Ca2+, aggravating coating also leading an increase recovery.
